East and West Newbigging are each a mirror of the other and are set in a beautiful rural setting. They have been renovated to a very high standard and each provides the convenience of a modern, superbly equipped, self-catering holiday cottage, with the flexibility to appeal to as much to a single occupant as to a family.

Each house provides three bedrooms served by two bathrooms (one ensuite) and capable of sleeping up to six guests. You'll not regret choosing this for your self-catering cottage holiday exploring Tayside and Fife.

Located just off the main road north from Newtyle, East and West Newbigging enjoy a tranquil rural location, while still only a short 20/25 minutes drive from the centres of Perth or Dundee.

At the front, each cottage has an attractively planted, secluded, south-facing courtyard. To the rear, there is a terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and hot tub, and an area of garden enjoying spectacular views across the Vale of Strathmore and the Grampians beyond.

Both properties have been fully refurbished to the highest standards and are heated by full gas fired central heating systems. Ample parking is available in front of each house.

Ground Floor Accommodation

• Open Plan Living Area
  The entire ground floor is laid out as one open-plan living area. At one end is a spacious seating area with comfortable sofas and armchairs grouped around a fireplace. Entertainment is provided by a television with Freeview, a DVD / video combi, and a stereo.

  The middle section offers a dining table seating six or eight persons, while the other end has a fully-fitted kitchen, equipped with modern appliances.

  The furnishings comprise high quality antiques and create an ideal setting for entertaining. An open tread staircase leads to the upper floor.

First Floor Accommodation

• Master Bedroom
  Enjoying a panoramic view over the Angus hills, this double-bedded room has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, handheld shower, wc and wash basin.
• Bedroom Two
  Located in the middle of the property, this twin bedroom features opening French doors from which uninterrupted views of the surrounding Angus countryside can be enjoyed.
• Bedroom Three
  This delightfully furnished room has a double bed, a chest of drawers and a chair.
• Bathroom
  Lying between bedrooms two and three, this family bathroom is fully fitted with a three piece white suite and a shower over the bath.
